Beetroot dessert wine
Assertive and earthy, Red Root is sweet enough to be a dessert in itself, or works as an accompaniment with goat cheese.
We extract flavor from Finnish beet roots, then add enough sugar and acid to ferment a balanced wine.
This wine requires a long aging process to let the flavors meld and mellow properly, spending nine months in bulk storage before it is filtered and bottled.
- 14% alcohol
- Sugar is 10% (semi-sweet)
- 75cl green bottles with corks
- Dark red color
- Best served at cellar temperature 10-13°
